Welcome to our school website 

On behalf of the staff, governors and families of Wentworth Church of England (controlled) Junior and Infant School, I would like to welcome you to our school website and hope you gain an understanding of how our school is organised and a feel for a learning environment on which we pride ourselves. Through the website we aim to give you a comprehensive overview of the school, as well as providing regular information for parents, children and prospective families.

Wentworth School has a distinctive feel that is always commented on when people visit; it is a place where we endeavour to ignite curiosity and an enquiring mind, where we believe our dreams for our future are possible because "Together We Prosper".

We are extremely proud of our immersive curriculum where we provide experiences that motivate, engage, challenge and provoke a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge. 

Our Christian ethos and vision interweaves through school life and our endeavour is that "through a love of learning, a CURIOUS mind and the AWE and WONDERMENT of the world around us we have: Plans to prosper you, keep you from harm, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). 

We pride ourselves on high standards for all in a safe, nurturing environment where we are preparing every child for their position as a confident, responsible and aspirational citizen in society.
